Alphabets On The Stone (Illustration Friday)
Wei Ning | 31 August, 2007 20:09Bathing under a warm midday sun, he longed for a rest. He was very sure the Tibetan mastiff would take care of the herds while he is not around. He walked up to the mani stones mound and sit in the shade. This stones mound had been formed there for hundred of years, and the size was still increasing. He found the piece devoted by his grandpa five years ago. Om mani padme hum. Om mani padme hum. Those are the only alphabets grandpa could teach him. He repeated these alphabets carved on the stone several times and fell asleep.
